Stalin's Tomb-Amy Jackson

Joseph Stalin, a dictator of the Soviet Union, died on the 5th of March, 1953. During his life he was responsible for killing a recorded 3 million, but estimated 60 million people. He was a tyrant, hated by many. However, when his death was announced, many mourned and wept. They remembered the victory that he led in WWII. His tomb is open for the public to visit. For many people, it is a sacred place. He was the leader of the people. His body was embalmed and is preserved. The tomb is open for the public to visit. One of my friends visited it but he did not go in. He was with someone who did not consider Stalin a hero. The door of the tomb is low so that when one enters the tomb, they have to duck, or bow to Stalin, in order to go inside. For the person, it was inappropriate to bow down to him. People either loved him or hated him. They have to bow down or stay away. He seemed to be almost a religious figure. The tomb is sacred to some and profane to others. It depends on who you are and how you relate to him.
